About the Illuminated Collection

Scripture Presented as an Illuminated Atlas

The Illuminated Collection presents biblical history through richly illustrated plates inspired by antique scriptural atlases, illuminated manuscripts, and early cosmological charts. Each plate brings Scripture, original-language terminology, ancient writings, historical interpretation, and visual reconstruction into a single field of study.

These plates are intended to be explored rather than simply viewed. Follow the references, examine the details, and compare each visual reconstruction with the biblical record and related exhibits throughout Archoseum.
